All appliances stay--1201 Central Avenue, Alameda, CA

|
One of three properties to hit the market yesterday, this large Tudor revival emphasizes luxury. First the publicly available specs:

3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms (MLS(r) says 3), 1,708 sqft, 3,740 sqft lot, $689,000, MLS(r) #40365105
Gorgeous [...]! Over 1700 sq ft. [...] Stone tiled kitchen nook. All appliances stay - washe, dryer, stove, refrig all less than 2 years old. Luxerious His & Hers walk-in closets [...] Luxury Alameda Living
You'd think it was assumed that all appliances would stay when you're asking almost $700,000 for a house, but I suppose it bears to be specified. At $403 / sqft, it's priced more aggressively than a lot of homes, but the lot is a bit small.

This smells like a property someone's trying to unload with their shirt still on.

Last sale and tax info

Sold 07/28/2003: $625,000
2007 Property Tax: $8,073
Assuming concessions and a price drop, this is another property listed at almost 2003 prices. Do three properties make a trend?

Update 10/26/08: Forget about the shirt. Price dropped to $629,000 on 10/7.

Update 3/17/09: Back on the market at $599,000.
